APPLICATION:Fly ash is obtained by electrostatic or mechanical separation of fine particles from flue gases in power plants. The fly ash offered by Bioeko from the Nowe Jaworzno, Jaworzno, and Łaziska power plants are construction products and have Certificates of Constancy of Performance “Fly ash for concrete” in accordance with PN-EN 450-1:2012.
Category A siliceous fly ash according to PN-EN 450-1:2012 is used in the production of: cement, concrete, precast elements, and concrete accessories.
Adding siliceous fly ash to concrete improves:workability,
structural tightness,
reduces heat of hydration, increases chemical resistance, participates in cement binding reactions, lowers production costs of concrete mix, reduces water demand, improves final strength.
Adding siliceous fly ash to cement reduces:
production costs of Portland fly ash and multi-component cements, lowers emissions.
Siliceous fly ash can also be used in:
Construction, road building, railways:
as lightweight artificial aggregate for road construction and reinforcement, embankments, and railway trackbeds, as an additive for mortars, binders, and building ceramics, as a component of various mineral binders, for soil improvement, in ash-slag mixtures for road base and stabilization, for soil stabilization and grading, for filling post-mining voids and land reclamation.
Mining:
in fire and explosion prevention technologies, backfilling technologies, as an additive for specialized mining binders. -
APPLICATION:Synthetic gypsum (calcium sulfate dihydrate) is produced during the process of removing sulfur dioxide from industrial flue gases. It is a material that can be used for the production of gypsum building materials, in the cement industry as a setting time regulator, and in the aerated concrete industry to activate the hardening process. Its high CaSO₄·2H₂O content allows its use in the production of gypsum building products, plastering mortars, joint compounds, and gypsum adhesives. It is a full-value alternative to natural gypsum.
in the cement industry, in the production of building materials, gypsum boards, dry gypsum mixes, gypsum stucco.
